高铝球
 
高铝球由于其具有高强度、高硬度、高耐磨性,比重大、体积小、耐高温、耐腐蚀、无污染等优异特性而被广泛的运用于不同类型的陶瓷、瓷釉、玻璃、化工等等工厂的厚硬材质精加工和深加工。
以92%含量的高铝球为例,其比重(密度)应该达到3.60以上,氧化铝含量达到91.5%以上,含铁低。同样的原料,同样的配方,同样的烧成温度下,原料研磨后的粉料细度越小,则比重越高,耐磨性越好。高铝球的比重主要受粉料和烧成影响,烧生(烧不熟)、粉料过粗、加了杂料等因素会导致球石的比重不够。比重低的球石不耐磨,易开裂,但比重高也不能代表球石一定耐磨,因为过度烧结的球石也可以达到较高的比重。
